Mine’s a 2011 325i with just over 200k on the clock and it’s been pretty solid, but I know the big bills are coming eventually. I’ve been reading about service contracts and most of what I find seems aimed at newer cars still under some kind of warranty, so I’m wondering if it’s even worth asking about for something my age. A colleague told me to check bmw-garage.ae/service-contract to see if they cover older vehicles, but I haven’t rung anyone yet because I don’t want to waste their time if the answer is obviously no. Part of me thinks a contract on a car this old would either be refused or priced so high it defeats the purpose, but the other part likes the idea of smoothing out the costs before something expensive lets go. Has anyone here put an older BMW on a contract like this? Did they actually take it on or did you get told to just pay as you go?
